Based on the RICOH GR III high-end digital compact camera, this model features a metallic, warm-gray finish accentuated with a natural-silver ring cap.
The camera body is treated with an exclusive metallic arm-gray finish; the metallic appearance and surface texture have been designed to enhance the sense of reliability and quality, and also to assure firm hold of the camera body. This finish also gives the camera an appearance that is less insistent of its role as an imaging tool, with the warm color helping it blend more easily into daily life. The grip rubber has a dark-brown finish, creating a sense of unity with the camera body.
“Negative-Film" has been added as a new Image Control mode. By adjusting the color tones based on various negative films, the perfect balance between the faded look of photo printed from negative film and well-defined colors has been achieved.
*Note: This functions will be available for GR III- and GR IIIx-series modelswith the installation of function expansion firmware.
The end screen has been specially designed to blend fabric-based textures with an impression of the camera body paint.
In addition to the number of shots taken on the day,the total number of shots and firmware version can nowbe displayed (conventional display of only the number of shots taken on the day is also available).

Power-off function from ImageSync is now available. You can check and transfer images while the camera is in your bag, etc., and turn off the power.
